Hint:     He also drove in one hundred runs in each of nine consecutive years.

Hint:     He was once traded for a former MVP then later was voted MVP himself.

Hint:     His first career home run was off Roger Clemens.

A.         SAMMY SOSA  [SABR Bio]

-  From 1998 through 2001, he hit 66, 63, 50 & 64 HR for CHC.  He just missed the next year with 49 HR in 2002.

-  Hit the 100 RBI mark every year 1995-2003.

-  On 30-Mar-1992 e was traded with Ken Patterson from CHW to CHC for George Bell (AL MVP 1987).  Sosa was NL MVP in 1998.

-  Playing for TEX, he took Clemens deep 21-Jun-1989.  It was the only HR he hit for TEX in the 20th century.  He hit 21 for them at the end of his career in 2007.

-  He was drafted by TOR as their 1st round pick (16th overall) in the 1991 MLB June Amateur Draft & received a bonus of $725,000, opting out of his scholarship to Stanford.  Green donated a chunk of his signing bonus to the Metropolitan Toronto Housing Authority Breakfast Club which provides breakfast for kids who would otherwise have gone to school hungry.
