then relayed the ball to Tino Martinez at1st base. Tino tagged the base to retire Anderson. It was the 8th triple play in
Mariners' franchise history. It was the
3rd time the Orioles were involved in a triple play that month. They hit into 1 on 07-Aug vs. CLE & turned 1
themselves on 25-Aug vs. CAL. The NL’s J.D. Drew did likewise on 01-Aug-2022.
