A.  PRINCE FIELDER  [B-R Bio]

-  #1  He had 141 RBI in 2009 & 114 BB in 2010.

-  #2  He compiled a streak of 547 consecutive games played (2009–2014), the longest in MLB during that span.

-  #3  Fielder hit a walk-off homer on 06-Sep-2009 off the Giants’ Merkin Valdez.  To set up a home-plate celebration, his Brewer teammates rushed out to the plate and stood like so many human bowling pins.  Flieder rounded 3rd & bowled into them & to the dish and they dutifully all tumbled to the ground.

-  #1  Hernandez was the AL CYA winner in 2010 but some pundits didn’t think his record seemingly pedestrian of 13-12 made him worthy notwithstanding his league-leading 7.2 pitching WAR, 34 GS, 249⅔ IP, 1,001 BF & 7.0 H/9.  Convincing to most CYA voters, however, was probably his MLB-leading ERA of 2.27.  (I’m positive Brian Kenny did a little jig when he found out.)

-  #2  For Venezuela, he was an AS 6 X, won 169 games, started 418 games & threw 11 shutouts.

-  #1  On 11-Apr-2023, he handled Phillies pitching with a double, triple, home run & finally a single to complete the 1st cycle ever for the Marlins.

-  #2  When Yankee 3-time MVP RF Aaron Judge comes to bat in home games, fans and public addr4ss announcers alike, often greet him with “All RISE!” as one hears at the beginning of a court session..  However, the correct pronunciation of Arreaz’ last name is: \ah-RISE\ as listed on his page in Baseball-Reference.com.  One would have to be careful.
