pick (16th overall) in the 1991 MLB June Amateur Draft & received a bonus
of $725,000, opting out of his scholarship to Stanford. Green donated a chunk of his signing bonus to
the Metropolitan Toronto Housing Authority Breakfast Club which provides
breakfast for kids who would otherwise have gone to school hungry.
