Q.  Who is the only player to win consecutive World Series championships after winning consecutive NCAA baseball championships?

Hint: #1  He was the first American League player to pinch-hit a home run in his first World Series at-bat.

Hint: #2  His father played on a team that won a National League pennant and his wife brought some hardware home from the Olympics.

Hint: #3  Oh yeah.  So did he!
